L&T Infotech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of engineering giant Larsen & Toubro, has said that it has won an e-governance implementation project from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), an institution under the human resource development ministry.
L&T Infotech is enabling AICTE provide efficient and effective services to all its stakeholders and to bring in transparency, accountability and speed in its engagement with its member institutions and prospective member institutions in order to create a robust, healthy and vibrant educational infrastructure in the country, a statement issued here said. The company did not reveal financial details of the project.
It is also enabling AICTE stakeholders to gain visibility into the governance process and report status through periodic updates and to enhance productivity and standardisation by automating various approval and accreditation processes and work-flows across bureaus and regional offices, it said.
