MUMBAI: PriceWaterhouseCoopers is all set to buy Mumbai-based accounting and tax advisory firm Ambit RSM in a deal that will expand the overseas firm's presence in fast-growing advisory business. An announcement is likely on Monday. ET was the first to report that Ambit RSM is in talks with global accounting firms for an alliance or a complete sale. PwC will absorb about 750 of Ambit-RSM's 800 employees. Ashok Wadhwa, the head of Ambit-RSM, is likely to remain as a partner for some time. The firm is the biggest in the accounting and tax advisory space in India after the Big Four.
