SEBI has made it mandatory for the top 500 listed companies based on market capitalization to facilitate e-voting, making it easier for shareholders to participate in key decisions without being physically present in the meetings. The decision will be implemented in a phased manner. Listed companies may choose any agency which is currently providing the e-voting platform.
