Wind turbine maker ReGen Powertech has raised Rs. 52 crore from TVS Capital and Summit FVCI, a fund advised and managed by existing investor M Cap Fund Advisors. ReGen will use the funds to upgrade the capacity at its manufacturing plant in Udaipur. While TVS Capital has invested Rs. 37 crore for a 1.95% stake, Summit FVCI has put in Rs. 15 crore for a 0.79% stake, in a deal that values the company at Rs. 1,850 crore. M Cap, through Summit, will now hold around 3% in ReGen.
