WOCKHARDT GETS USFDA NOD

Pharma major Wockhardt has said that it has received approval from the US drug regulator for marketing its antiepileptic tablet Levetiracentam in that country. The company has received approval from the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for marketing of Levetiracentam tablets in the strength of 250, 500, 750 mg and 1 gm, Wockhardt said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Levetiracentam tablets are used in the treatment of various kinds of epileptic seizures.
