ANIL Ambani-led Reliance Infrastructure has bagged one more project from the Maharashtra government. The state government gave final approval to the company’s Rs 63-crore bid to develop and maintain five regional airports.
These five airports are located at Nanded, Latur, Yavatmal, Baramati and Osmanabad. The scope of work includes design, development, upgradation, financing, operating, maintenance and management.
The cost of building airports at Nanded, Latur and Yavatmal would be Rs 27 crore whereas the two airports at Baramati and Osmanabad, would cost Rs 36 crore. For these, the state government will hand over 601 hectares to RInfra on a 95-year lease.
