INDIA BUSINESS WORLD - 2008 HIGHLIGHTS NEWS LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR VIKAS, VISHAL YADAV IN KATARA CASE A city court sentenced Vikas and Vishal Yadav to life imprisonment in the Nitish Katara murder case. The court also imposed a penalty of Rs 1,60,000 -- Rs one lakh under Section 302 (murder), Rs 50,000 under Section 364 (kidnapping) and Rs 10,000 under Section 201 (destruction of evidence) -- on each of the two convicts. The court rejected capital punishment for the two, saying the matter des not come under the provisio "rarest of the rare cases".
