BANGALORE-BASED REPAIR & RETURN TECHNOLOGY (R&R) IN JOINT VENTURE WITH TAIWAN CO

Bangalore-based Repair & Return Technology (R&R) has entered into a joint venture agreement with Sequel Technology, Taiwan to provide after-sales services for electronic gadgets. The JV will see an initial investment of $2 million and both companies will set up a LCD panel repair services and other aftermarket services (AMS) facility in Bangalore. Sequel will provide the technology to R&R. R&R chairman R Jayakumar said, "We are positive that this JV will pave the way for global high-end electronics manufacturers' to outsource repairs and services to India.
