PARIS BASED IPSOS ACQUIRES MAJORITY STAKE IN INDIA'S INDICA RESEARCH

Paris-based global market research major Ipsos has picked up 75% stake in Indica Research Group, a mid-sized Indian market research company. The Rs 14.6-crore Indica Research will, however, continue to be managed by its three managing directors - B Narayanaswamy, VG Pillai and V Ravi. The $1.26-billion Ipsos is one of the world's largest research companies. Listed on the Euronext Paris, the Ipsos network services over 5,000 clients globally, from offices in 54 countries with over 7, 000 full time professionals.
