SRL RANBAXY RENAMED AS SUPER RELIGARE LABORATORIES

Pathology chain SRL Ranbaxy has been renamed Super Religare Laboratories with the aim to leverage the Religare brand, a company release said. Recently, the group’s pharma retail firm Fortis Healthworld was also renamed as Religare Wellness. Religare represents the financial services business of the promoters. “The rebranding exercise is a significant move to take our interest in diagnostics space to the next level. Religare is a respected and trusted brand across the country in the financial services domain. We intend extending the brand values and brand equity to various services within our promoter group, encompassing diagnostics, wellness retail and IT technology,” speaking on behalf of the promoter group, Religare Enterprises CEO & MD Sunil Godhwani said.
