SUPREME COURT RESTRAINS DELHI FIRM FROM USING DABUR AMLA DESIGN
Dabur has secured an order from the apex court restraining a Delhi based firm from using hair oil bottle design and caps which allegedly are a fraudulent imitation of Dabur Amla Hair Oil bottle. Interestingly, the case had taken some twists in the Delhi High Court which first restrained the Vinayak Industries from imitating the Dabur's design. However, the Delhi-based company in February this year changed its name to V N Cosmetics and relaunched its Plush Amla Hair Oil in plastic bottles which continued to be obvious imitation of its design, said Dabur.
