INDIA'S LARGEST TELECOM VAS PROVIDER ONMOBILE ACQUIRES FRANCE COMPANY VOXMOBILI

India's largest telecom value added service provider, OnMobile, announced the acquisition of France-based telecom software firm Voxmobili. On September 2, it was reported that the Infosys-incubated VAS firm was acquiring the Paris-headquartered firm that specialises in personal mobile data management software for Rs 150 crore. A definitive agreement has been signed between the two companies, and integration planning will start shortly, an OnMobile statement said. The acquisition is OnMobile's second after ITFinity Solutions. The latter was bought last December after OnMobile raised $27.8 million as part of its third round of funding from Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Polygon Investment Partners
