SREI INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCE LTD PICKS UP 76% EQUITY IN ANDHRA PRADESH VENTURE FUND COMPANY, HITVEL
HYDERABAD: SREI Infrastructure Finance Ltd - a private sector infrastructure equipment, infrastructure project and renewable energy financing company-has picked up a 76% stake in Andhra Pradesh government-promoted venture fund company Hyderabad Information Technology Venture Enterprises Limited (HITVEL). The institutional stakeholders of HITVEL include, among others, the Andhra Pradesh Infrastructure Development Corporation (APIDC), Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and Andhra Pradesh Infrastructural Industrial Corporation. SREI will reinforce the management team of HITVEL with new strategy and direction given its investment experience, especially in building and funding of emerging infrastructure companies.
