BCCL ACQUIRES STAKE IN MUMBAI BASED COMPANY, PAMPERED HOME

Bennett, Coleman & Company Ltd (BCCL) has acquired a stake in Pampered Home, a Mumbai-based company specialising in design, manufacture and retail of designer name plates under the brand 'Identity'. The firm was founded in 2003 by Seema and Rattan Joneja. In October 2004, Pampered Home began retailing in small format stores at the city's Inorbit Mall and Nirmal Lifestyle. The company plans to add six retail outlets this fiscal, which includes Ishanya in Pune, Total in Bangalore and Inorbit in Vashi. It also plans to roll out shop-in-shop outlets and franchisee outlets across India. This year, the company plans to introduce concepts such as children room identities and name accessories for executives.
