AUROBINDO PHARMA GETS SWISS NOD

Drug maker Aurobindo Pharma has said it has received approval from the Switzerland government for marketing Finasteride APL, a drug used for treating enlarged prostate in men. In a filing to BSE, Aurobindo Pharma said it has received approval from Swissmedic, Government of Switzerland for the licence of Finasteride APL tablets. Finasteride APL tablets are in the strength of 5mg and is used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate. Swissmedic is an independent public institution of the Swiss government.
