RANBAXY TIES UP WITH CD PHARMA FOR DENTAL DRUG
Ranbaxy Laboratories has entered into an exclusive marketing tie-up with CD Pharma, the Indian affiliate of US-based VSL Pharmaceuticals to market the latter’s patented dental probiotic drug Inersan in India and Nepal. Inersan, priced at Rs 12 per tablet, is used to treat dental problems such as Periodontitis, Gingivitis and Halitosis. According to both the companies, at present there is no particular drug in India to treat these dental problems and Inersan will be the first-of-its-kind in India.
Ranbaxy Laboratories senior VP and regional director Asia & CIS Sanjeev Dani said: “In the post patent era, we are driven by the need to in-license differentiated products and introduction of Inersan tablets consolidates Ranbaxy’s position in dental segment.”
