VIVIN LABS TIES UP WITH US COS FOR DRUG MANUFACTURING

Hyderabad-based Vivin Laboratories has tied up with US companies such as Cascade Columbia Distribution, Syndel Laboratories to manu-facture high-value drugs, identified drugs and several chemicals com-pounds. The contract is for three years and mutually extendable with investment of $25 million per annum. Once this tie-up comes into ef-fect in next two months, the turnover of Vivin is expected to jump from Rs 40 crore to Rs 70 crore in a year. Vivin is setting up a Rs 35-crore plant in Vizag which will manufacture Anti HIV drugs, prills and oncology products.
