STRIDES GETS REGULATORY NOD FOR TAZO PIP, TOBRAMYCIN

Pharma firm Strides Arcolab announed that it has received approval from drug regulators of Canada and the US for Tazo Pip Sterile Injection and Tobramycin, used in the treatment of bacterial infections. The company has also received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for manufacturing sterile products for the US market made from its manufacturing site in Bangalore, Strides informed the BSE. The company had received its Abbreviated New Drug Submission approval from Health Canada for Tazo Pip Sterile Injection. Strides had licensed the product to an undisclosed partner in Canada, the filing added.
