MICRO TECHNOLOGIES INKS PACT WITH SRI LANKAN REALTY FIRM

Micro Technologies India has said that it has entered into a strategic agreement with Sri Lanka's real estate firm ISystems to market micro products and its licenses in the island nation. The firm said it has entered into an strategic agreement with the Sri Lankan company, it said in a filing to the BSE. According to I-Systems managing director Kavinda Jayasooriya, Sri Lanka has a very lucrative and rapidly expanding Market, which offers excellent opportunities for Micro Technologies security products and their product licenses. Micro Technologies India provides high-end security products in the areas of mobile security, automobile security and monitoring systems, among others. With increasing demand for security at homes and for vehicles, the micro products innovative technology was a perfect match to this requirement, the filing added. "We hope to focus more attention towards the home security segment which is the hottest segment for penetration and Sri Lankan market will definitely prove to be an ideal home security market," said Micro Technologies chief operating officer Mukund Gupta.
