JET, AIR CANADA STRIKE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Jet Airways, India’s largest private carrier, has struck a strategic partnership with Air Canada aimed at seamlessly transferring passengers between the airlines at London’s Heathrow airport. The code-sharing deal will allow both carriers to transfer their passengers between Mumbai and Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Edmonton, Jet Airways said in a statement. The deal also includes Jet Airways flights from Chennai to Toronto, Prock-Schauer Jet Airways CEO was quoted as saying by National Post. “We are proud to join hands with Air Canada, an airline of global stature. Jet Airways’ code share agreement with Air Canada will offer greater choice of destinations and enable passengers to fly with greater convenience and flexibility between India and Canada, not only through our Brussels hub but also via London,” said Prock-Schauer.
