DR REDDY'S SETTLES DISPUTE WITH NOVARTIS ON EXELON
Drug firm Dr Reddy's Laboratories has said that it has settled dispute with Swedish drug major Novartis over the generic version of Exelon (rivastigmine tartrate capsules) used to treat mild dementia. The company informed the BSE that as per the settlement, related to the Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDA) filed by it for a generic version of rivastigmine tartrate capsule, the company would not launch the drug before the patent expiry. The settlement also involves a stipulation of dismissal of the lawsuits in the United States related to the case.
