WIPRO'S REVENUE GROWTH 30%
WIPRO reported a robust growth for the third quarter ended December 31. While net profit grew by a respectable 27% year-on-year to touch Rs 543 crore, revenue growth was 30% at Rs 2,744 crore.
Wipro's revenues grew 9.5%, while net profit rose by a respectable 13.7%. The 13.7% sequential rise in the net bettered the 11.7% sequential rise in net recorded during Q2.
Speaking to the media, company chairman Azim Premji said all major business segments recorded robust growths in revenues and profits. “Our differentiated services — such as testing, technology infrastructure management and enterprise application services — continued to grow ahead of overall growth rates,” he added.
In Q3, Wipro Technologies' global IT business reported revenue of $473 million against the guidance of $463 million. Buoyed by the performance, Wipro management has given a guidance of $510 million for Q4 ending March 31. |
